Back to Good Old Scotch 回到小时候的西餐厅

话题还是围绕在妹妹的生日,在吃丰富的晚餐之前,我与妹妹在午餐时分外出找吃的。因为已是庆祝的心情了,所以不想吃经济饭之类的食物,在怡保花园南区兜兜转转之后,选择了Scotch。有一位在怡保工作的日本人曾告诉我他听说这里是怡保最有历史又最好吃的西餐。(不是吧!)


Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce 蘑菇鸡排 - RM13.50
其实通常大家都去吃Set Lunch,可是我们到的时候已经过了招待时间,所以点的是A La Carte。价钱较高的A La Carte 鸡排看起来似乎和Set Lunch的差不多,设定也是一样的杂豆,小黄瓜番茄各一片和软掉的炸薯条。
鸡排的味道算是合格的,腌过的鸡肉配上经典的蘑菇汁,味道很经典。煎鸡排肉质软嫩,也保留了肉汁。


Lamb Chop 羊排 - RM13.50
羊排一上桌,我的反应是,什么?就这两小块而已?(请比较鸡排和羊排的照片就能看出羊排的‘渺小’)阿妹,想一下待会儿要到哪里和下午茶,这么丁点的两块羊排(而且三份一是骨头)进了肚子都不懂要塞到哪里。羊肉是满香的,因为用炸的关系,可是另一方面肉质就显得粗糙了。


记得我小时候就来这里吃Chicken Maryland或者炸鸡翅膀了,那时候的陈设和装修到现在都不曾改变,有老英格兰酒吧的味道。

OMG!!! It's still here after all these years...been here when I was a little girl and it has been like almost 16 years since I was there. Gotta go back there next time! Cheers!
